We are pleased to announce our successful application for the 2024-2026 Language and Arts and Culture funding round.
Kunbu – Celebration.
Muruku jinabu dungarinya wawu wawu-ji ngulkurrji
Walking together in good spirit

The project is designed to celebrate cultural continuance and rejuvenate the Kuku Yalanji language. It encourages intergenerational participation, from very young children to clan Elders, weaving language through a wide range of cultural activities. The project will culminate in a Celebration/Exhibition showcasing the arts, culture, and language of the Kubirriwarra Yalanji Clan-group.
